During my last trip to the Austrian Alps, I discovered Almhof Galtür, a beautiful family hotel that completely won me over. Almhof Galtür is a small, family-run hotel that is characterized by authentic Tyrolean charm and personal approach. From the moment I pulled into the driveway, I felt welcome and at home. The warm welcome from the owners and staff set the stage for an unforgettable stay.
What immediately struck me was the beautiful location of the hotel, surrounded by the impressive mountain peaks of the Alps. The combination of rustic architecture and natural surroundings creates a true oasis of peace and relaxation. I couldn't stop feasting my eyes on the beautiful sight unfolding before me.

The Almhof Galtür is located in the village of Galtür in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The hotel is just 5 kilometers from the Italian border, making it an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Alpine region.

The menu offers an extensive selection of local, seasonal products, prepared with a lot of passion and care. From succulent game dishes to sophisticated vegetarian options, there is something for every taste. There is also an impressive wine list with a selection of excellent Austrian and international wines.
In addition to the main restaurant, Almhof Galtür also has a cozy après-ski bar and a comfortable lounge where guests can enjoy a drink and live music. The attractive decor and friendly staff contribute to a relaxed and homely atmosphere, perfect for ending an active day.
How to get to Almhof Galtür
Almhof Galtür is easily accessible by both car and public transport. From the Netherlands, the hotel is around 8 hours away by car, taking in the beautiful Alpine scenery along the way.
If you prefer to travel by plane, the nearest airport is Innsbruck Airport, around 1.5 hours away by car. From Innsbruck, you can easily travel to Galtür by train or rental car.
If you want to use public transport, Almhof Galtür is easily accessible by bus. There are regular connections from surrounding towns such as Landeck and Ischgl.
